John Kirby Abraham, who was born in England prior to World War II, was a radio and television journalist who met and talked with Josephine Baker during the last period her of her life. He then sought her earlier companions to discover the star who said ‘No” to racial discrimination, and became a French Resistance heroine in WWII. She was courted by many but always sang of her two main loves ‘my country and Paris’.
John worked for Radio France and television as a commentator. His numerous articles, photographs and art have been displayed in France and Great Britain. John lives in England.
